In a comic reversal on the original theme, Dr. Watson is the master consulting detective, and "Sherlock Holmes" an alias for a drunk, out-of-work actor invented by the doctor, enabling him to dabble in his hobby of crime solving without disturbing the Victorian medical establishment.
